Welcome to the Rusty Tractor Farm Cafe, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Cadleigh Park, Ivybridge. This charming cafe is more than just a place to grab a bite; it's an experience, especially tailored for families and those seeking a true taste of the countryside.

As you step inside, you're immediately enveloped by the warm, welcoming atmosphere that Rusty Tractor Farm Cafe is known for. The rustic decor and the friendly faces behind the counter create a cozy setting where you can unwind and enjoy delicious homemade meals. Whether you're looking to fuel up for a busy day or simply want to savor a delightful afternoon treat, this cafe has something for everyone.

The menu features a range of tantalizing options that cater to all tastes. Early risers can delight in a hearty breakfast, complete with options that promise to satisfy even the hungriest of appetites. However, it's important to note from customer feedback that while the breakfast is deemed "decent" by visitors like Jess Holliday, substitutions for breakfast items can come with an additional cost. This means planning your order accordingly for the best experience.

If you’re not an early bird, don’t miss the exquisite Devon cream tea, praised by John Jags Jagger, who relished the fluffy, generous scones served with proper clotted cream and jam. Each bite is like a taste of heaven, making it a must-try for anyone visiting.

For families, the outdoor play area is a real highlight. Ellie Vennelle enjoyed watching her children interact with goats and pigs while savoring their time at the outdoor seating, which is perfect for those sunny days. Although Ellie noted a slow-moving queue, the staff at Rusty Tractor assure a delightful experience with helpful service, ensuring you feel valued even when the cafe is bustling.

The cafe’s ability to cater to families shines through in reviews from loyal visitors like Hayley Stewart, who praises the high standard of food and service during her special event, a baby shower afternoon tea. The enthusiastic and dedicated team, led by Will and Maddie, added a personal touch that resonates with patrons long after their visit.

In conclusion, Rusty Tractor Farm Cafe isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a destination where memories are made. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere, delicious food, and a unique environment that invites families to explore and connect with nature. So why not plan your visit today—whether it’s for breakfast, a delicious Devon cream tea or just to relax with a good cup of coffee while the kids play? You’ll come for the food, but you’ll stay for the experience.

Decent breakfast, fast service, polite staff. Disappointingly, they don’t allow you to do any substitutions for breakfast items you might not like, so an extra egg instead of mushrooms for example - you have to pay for any substitutions on top as “extras”, which seems a shame/a bit shortsighted to me. It was rammed with babies, kids and families when I came as it was summer holidays. Clearly popular with families due to the play area outside, so if you’re looking for a quiet breakfast/lunch spot during the summer holidays, this won’t be the place for you.

Visited on a hot and very busy day, and sat outside, brilliant play park! Nice to see goats and pigs. Ideal for kids 3- 8 Queue was slow moving and a long wait for food, but staff were helpful and the scones tasty (but very pricey!)

Great for all the family, have visited the rusty tractor on many occasions, food and service are always at a high standard. Would definitely recommend. Recently I with the help of the rusty tractor I hosted a baby shower afternoon tea, Will, Maddie and the rest of the team were amazing. Thank you

Came for a coffee and a bite to eat. I had a mocha and a devon cream tea. The scone was huge and light and fluffy with a deliciously crunchy outer, served with proper clotted cream and jam. My wife had a strawberry milkshake which she really enjoyed. Plenty of activities for the kids to do and pigs and goats in pens to look at. The chef was singing his heart out to James Blunt in the kitchen which made us chuckle. All staff were friendly and attentive.
